Is elevation of discourse out of the question?

Post by lkwalker » Wed Apr 06, 2011 7:01 pm

I know the humans love to poke and bicker. But is it a dodge? A pastime? A release from boredom? Many serious issues have raised here... mostly in the Philosophy threads. Do yo want to learn or simply banter? The choice is yours...

Is this thread pointed at anyone in particular?
A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds, adored by little statesman and philosophers and divines. With consistency a great soul has simply nothing to do.

Not at all. Just a general observation.

Good. Just wondering. I love philosophy, just not packaged as belonging to another person.

Philosophy isn't a matter of idee fixé, it is process.

Do philosophers have to use French phrases? Is it some kind of law? These things can't be said in English?

I don't understand a word French, you know, hahahaha!
