Does a foreign criminal need to be read the same rights as a US citizen to prevent the 'rights denied' loophole.

If you want to appear as the being on the moral high ground in the War of Terror, then you need to actually act in a manner befitting. The west, and in particular the US, is good at harping on about rights etc when one of its people has committed a crime abroad, so let's not have things get any more hypocritical and fairweather than they already are.
