Those Random Moments

It was 8:50 PM Saturday, me and Shopping OS were headed toward the Sycuan Casino hoping to catch the 2013 Pow-Wow - Sycuan Band of the Kumeyaay Nation. My girlfriends poor eyes read the event as 1PM - 8PM. It was actually "Gourd Dancing will begin at 1 p.m with a Grand Entry at 1 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Saturday".

I continued to drive to the Casino. It didn't feel right for the event so early. About 10 minutes away from the Casino, I ask "do you think they will still be dancing?"

My Ipod player plays the following song immediately after I posed the question:

Sure enough, we arrived to get amazing parking and make it for the grand entry.

So are the Eagles marked to be a loser? The hurry up is just a disguise for intentional bad play? Or the refs are in one it?

Your take?

I think Vick is a phenomenal player from the start but they learn habits from veteran players. The veteran players learn from the refs.

If the players produce the turnovers, the refs don't need to call anything.

The turnovers are poor play or planned? If they are not planned then we are looking are crappy players, whether they should be or not.

Who knows? But I will lend you my perception on these matters.

The human brain "quick slices" high amounts of optical information to make decisions. This slicing may affect a persons intuition or performance.

With your own experience watching the NFL and using "quick slicing" does the actions of the players of certain plays appear to be honest errors?

At this level, spacial recognition is very developed. Basically a self guided weapon system using the recognition and sending feedback to the motors. How many time has a player caught a ball. Knowing where to run based on the motion of the players. It's automatic.

So that bring in flaws in performance. That should be pretty small also. We see QBs drop the ball into the hands of a player in the corner of the end zone, over and over. Back shoulder, etc, routine.

So that brings in the intimidation or false input factor. This I believe is a big part. This can vary based on many factors in the same player. By false input I mean one player being able to delay or disguise his motion so the other fails to register soon enough and therefore is at a disadvantage.

I think, all in all, it's just the game. But I do see how planned incidents to alter the game can easily be hidden in all of this.

It seems as though a few player's mental state can effect the whole team. The collapse or come back situation.

This is the road that the Texans follow most of the time.
