The following quote was taken from the Frasier TV show, aired on March 6th, 2001. Former astronaut and Senator, John Glenn said:

"Back in those glory days, I was very uncomfortable when they asked us to say things that I didn't want to say, and deny other things. Some people asked, you know, "Were you alone out there?" We never gave the real answer. And yet, we've seen things out there, strange things. But, we know what we saw out there and we couldn't really say anything. The bosses were really afraid of this, they were afraid of the War of the Worlds type stuff and about panic in the streets. So, we had to keep quiet. And now, we only see these things in our nightmares ... or maybe in the movies, and some of them are pretty close to being the truth ..."

Just like people who drown themselves always remove their shoes and jumpers always remove their eye glasses.

The most outspoken astronaut Ufers were Gordon Cooper and Ed Mitchell. Cooper spoke of witnessing UFOs both in the sky and on the ground. Mitchell is a proponent for expo politics based on his own knowledge of the subject. Why anyone would not believe these men concerning the existence of ET on earth is beyond me. But as I've said, they're heroes to me so I'm a little prejudiced.

I clearly remember his flight, and all the rest of the spam in a can chaps. I was going to a military school run by the Navy at China Lake at the time, and the love for those guys is buried deep in my soul.
