Currently reading one of his works- "The Perennial Philosophy".
I picked that up last week. Sitting by my bed and waiting for me to crack it open.
I lied about "currently reading". It's just sitting there too. Will read tonight.

Pana. Is the name a charactronym or a aptronym for Prana?
My mother's foray into eastern religions in the sixties:

It's actually Pannatma - Pali for Wisdom/Self or the higher self. Sanskrit is Prana, yes.

Big name to fit into.
Cool. Lot's of background there.

My name is Royal because I have delusions of grandeur.

Nice to meet you. : )

Pleased to meet you, Mr. Royal.
You're grandeur is very becoming.
You're humbleness is very charming.

I mess up the "your" and "you're" usage too.

I'm going to cross post this to Amkon as an inter-forum experiment. I'll use your exact wording Egg, in the interests of fairness.

We'll see what people there make of it.

I don't think anyone's retarded enough to complain about a cross post. We're all adults, and Egg is a mild mannered guy.

If they have a problem with it, they can PM me.

It's an experiment to see what both forums do with the same material.

It's about 3am in NYC right now. If anyone has Egg's number, I'll happily give him a call. "Hey yo man, about that Brave New World thread, yo can I cross post it man.... hey, can you give me permission in writing? And what about the fonts, man? Can I use my own or do I have to keep yours? Sorry to bother you man..."

If it does, that's all part of the experiment, right?

Haha. You might have been kidding, but the pettiness of some of the posters I've met these two years knows no bounds.

I wouldn't be surprised if this cross post sparks a full on board war, death threats, suicides, hacked emails, tears, broken marriages, and a 20 page thread on the politics and morality of cross posting....

Infinite pettiness, there's a conundrum for you.
