"I Am That I Am" Or "The One Who Watches"
Re: "I Am That I Am" Or "The One Who Watches"
The pronunciation is considered unknown and the word itself too sacred to even attempt a pronunciation. It is considered by Jews to be a 'fixing' of the dynamic being of god. A form of idolatry. That also applies to pictorial representations of god. Islam shares that belief with Jews although Christians ignore it.

Not only is the name not known, just to gaze upon him would result in death, hence the impersonation of a burning bush.

That's true. Apparently, Moses saw more of God than anyone else and he only got to see the back of his head.Dr Exile wrote:Not only is the name not known, just to gaze upon him would result in death, hence the impersonation of a burning bush.
