Trump on jan 6 commission

Post by Pigeon » Fri May 21, 2021 2:25 pm

Former President Donald Trump on Thursday expressed his displeasure with the 35 House Republicans who bucked his call to vote against the bipartisan commission to investigate the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.

"See, 35 wayward Republicans — they just can’t help themselves," Trump said before lamenting Republicans such as Sens. Mitt Romney, R-Utah, and Ben Sasse, R-Neb., and Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo. "Sometimes there are consequences to being ineffective and weak. The voters understand!"

How screwed up does a person have to be to still be following this psychopath.

The catch-22 of idiocracy

Donald Trump's team wanted Ron Watkins to help challenge the result of the 2020 US election.

Watkins was named along with 23 other right-wing influencers to take part in a media blitz.

He is widely rumored to be the man behind the QAnon conspiracy theory.

Donald Trump's team wanted the QAnon influencer Ron Watkins to help push baseless voter-fraud claims, according to a strategy playbook submitted to the January 6 select committee last week.

That request must have made the 4chan guys jump for joy.

Trump

This self described genius now wants us to believe he’s never heard of a ‘burner phone’ and was taking a nap for 8 hours on Jan 6

The fact this country will allow someone publicly working with an enemy to run for president again is everything that's wrong with this country. No, everyone shouldn't be allowed to put their hat in the ring. It's the most preposterous notion about our system.

White House records turned over to House show 7-hour gap in Trump phone log on Jan. 6

Internal White House records from the day of the attack on the U.S. Capitol that were turned over to the House select committee show a gap in President Donald Trump's phone logs of seven hours and 37 minutes, including the period when the building was being violently assaulted, according to documents obtained by CBS News' chief election & campaign correspondent Robert Costa and The Washington Post's associate editor Bob Woodward.

The lack of an official White House notation of any calls placed to or by Trump for 457 minutes — from 11:17 a.m. to 6:54 p.m. — on Jan. 6, 2021 means there is no record of the calls made by Trump as his supporters descended on the U.S. Capitol, battled overwhelmed police and forcibly entered the building, prompting lawmakers and Vice President Mike Pence to flee for safety.

Yeah, Trump is a Dick, just like Nixon.

Meanwhile on Russian state TV:

Host Evgeny Popov says it’s time for the Russian people to call on Americans to change “the regime in the U.S.” before its term expires “and to again help our partner Trump to become President.”

Kremlin TV Hopes Russia’s Unhinged Bioweapons Claim Will Help Re-Elect Trump:

State TV pundits are delighted that Russian propaganda about Hunter Biden’s supposed funding of bioweapons in Ukraine has “served up a beneficial deck of cards for Trump.”

One of the key questions the January 6 House committee is expected to raise in its June hearings is why Trump failed to publicly condemn the attack for hours, and whether that failure is proof of "dereliction of duty" and evidence that Trump tried to obstruct Congress' certification of the election.

The Meadows texts show that even those closest to the former President believed he had the power to stop the violence in real time.

It is to everyone who does not wear the MAGA hat, the other traitors.
